Here’s a rundown of all the games from the latest action.


Girls Basketball

  • St. Vincent 48, Jackson 33
    St. Vincent claimed the First State Community Bank Holiday Classic championship behind stellar defense and clutch shooting. A buzzer-beater by Allie Patrick before halftime gave the Indians momentum they never relinquished. The Rubel twins and Lana Adams combined for 30 points to seal the victory over top-seeded Jackson, handing them their first loss of the season.
  • Delta 77, Woodland 46
    Jade Berry lit up the scoreboard with 27 points, including six 3-pointers, as Delta secured third place in the FSCB Holiday Classic. Grace Ancell added 16, and Raelin Nanney chipped in 13 to help the Ladycats finish the tournament on a high note.
  • Perryville 42, Cape Central 32
    The Lady Pirates locked down defensively to claim the fifth-place title in the FSCB Holiday Classic. Sophomore Aby Amberger led the charge with 24 points in the win over Cape Central.
  • Poplar Bluff 53, Holcomb 27
    The Lady Mules controlled the game from the opening tip, building an early lead and cruising to a first-round win in the Lady Royal Christmas Classic. Jadyn Brandon led Poplar Bluff with 11 points.
  • Dexter 57, Greenville 19
    Dexter’s suffocating defense overwhelmed Greenville in the Lady Royal Christmas Classic opener. Kenedy Krampf and Kate Nichols each scored 16 to lead the Bearcats to victory. Dexter appears to be one of the most improved teams in the area through the early part of the season.
  • Twin Rivers 60, Malden 49
    Twin Rivers used a strong fourth-quarter push to pull away from Malden in a hard-fought win. Ivy Benson’s timely shooting helped seal the victory for the Lady Royals.
  • Kennett 56, New Madrid County Central 43
    Kennett advanced in the Lady Royal Christmas Classic with a solid win over NMCC, using a balanced offensive attack and a stingy defense to take control.

Boys Basketball

  • Jackson 73, Festus 45
    Jackson dominated Festus from start to finish, with Kole Deck pouring in 21 first-half points. The Indians’ defense forced turnovers and controlled the boards en route to the win.
  • Scott City 79, St. Vincent 40
    Scott City’s perfect season continues as the Rams overwhelmed St. Vincent behind Max Snider’s 26 points. A strong first-half effort put the game out of reach early.
  • Chaffee 73, Scott County Central 33
    Nolan Fowler (21 points) and Rolen Reischman (20 points) led Chaffee to a big win at home over Scott County Central.
  • Risco 82, Doniphan 53
    Risco captured the Clarkton Christmas Tournament championship in dominant fashion, with Sammy Smith exploding for 35 points.
  • Portageville 48, East Carter 44
    Portageville secured third place in the Clarkton Christmas Tournament with a hard-fought win over East Carter, thanks to Antonio Hickenbottom’s game-high 22 points.
  • Bernie 64, Bell City 51
    Bernie capitalized on Bell City’s injuries and early shooting struggles to secure a road win. Jon Aycock led Bernie with 20 points, while Bell City’s Logan Pikey finished with 15.
  • Bloomfield 48, Advance 40
    Bloomfield overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to earn a gritty win over Advance. Caleb Upchurch dominated the second half, scoring 18 of his game-high 30 points.
